As part of the Creative Europe Real Heroes project, DIGI.BA, together with partners VRT (Flemish public broadcaster) and WeMakeVR, created the multiplayer VR application Da Vinci Effect, which aims to introduce children aged 11-14 to the great artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci. The players are in Leonardo’s workshop looking for the lost parts of his inventions, so that the world can function again. When they find them, they can meet Leonard himself as a reward.
The first festival demo application was held at the 10th Tuzla Film Festival. The children had the opportunity to virtually travel to Florence and explore the workshop in search of the Mona Lisa, a ball bearing ball and part of a lens grinder, inventions discovered by Leonardo da Vinci and now in use in everyday life. The demo was successful and allowed us to test the app and fix potential flaws.
