Tribute to DIGI.BA from Museum of Sarajevo

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Museum of Sarajevo, at a ceremonial Academy held at the Armed Forces Hall in Sarajevo, the DIGI.BA Association was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation “for its outstanding contribution to the work, affirmation, and promotion of the Museum of Sarajevo as a guardian and representative of our heritage”. The Certificate of Appreciation was presented to DIGI.BA President Selma Rizvić by Museum Director Indira Kučuk Sorguč.

Upon receiving the Certificate of Appreciation, DIGI.BA President addressed the audience, saying that the Museum has been an inspiration for the Sarajevo Graphics Group and the DIGI.BA team for years, since 2009 when they created a Virtual Museum of Bosnian Traditional Objects, without a budget, with students from the Department of Computer Science and Informatics of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo, as part of laboratory exercises in the subject of Computer Graphics

Now, after many joint projects, the Museum is opening a VR showroom where visitors will be able to virtually travel to Sarajevo’s past.
