After representatives of the Center for Research and Preservation of Cultural and Historical Heritage “Dr. Đorđe Lazarević” from Zvornik contacted us, we agreed to create a VR application that would present the original appearance of the fortress in Zvornik and the stories related to it. Based on the pictures and drawings provided by historians Miloš Ivanković and Danica Pelemiš-Subotić, our visual artist Mirsad Festa created a realistic 3D reconstruction. The VR application, which contains an interactive model of the fortress and information about it and its inhabitants, was developed by our young associate Filip Marić, for whom this was his first project with the DIGI.BA Association. The structure of the application was designed by VR director Bojan Mijatović, and the music composer and sound designer is Adnan Mušanović. The project was coordinated by the president of the DIGI.BA Association, Selma Rizvić.
The application was very successfully presented at several events organized by the Center Đorđe Lazarević, and the audience was impressed by the opportunity to visit the fortress as it once was. We plan to continue our cooperation on digital content from the rich cultural heritage of the Zvornik region.
